Rakuten STAY VILLA Fujikawaguchiko Forest

This place was brilliant! Being close to Mt Fuji, the scenery is breathtakingly gorgeous. In the early morning if you take a bit of a stroll down the end of the private street near the main road, you’d be able to see Fuji in her unobstructed beauty and majesty. But the villa being within the forest, it was cosy and felt like I was transported into a world of my own. Since there wasn’t very much light polluting the sky, we could see the night sky in all its glory. The stars were out and I was happy to see the Moon and Venus and Saturn in conjunction very clearly. The house itself was clean and very well-maintained. The location is also quite conveniently close to all of the usual touristy spots, convenience stores and restaurants, but also far enough that none of the tourists themselves were gathered in the area to take photographs, making it serene and calm and peaceful.

Sauna and onset were amazing. Large comfy beds. Saw deer over the fence in the morning snow! Good kitchen equipment. Beautiful modern house.

Lovely villa. Beautiful modern design, layout - feels like home! Clean and well equipped in kitchen, bath and bedrooms. Love the outdoor patio and the hot tub! Location was good, easily accessible with car to the surroundings of the lake.

Very relaxed setting with Scandinavian feel. Very good natural light. Sauna and artificial onsen were great.
